Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, ensuring that all desktop systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new desktops and laptops.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation of support activities.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance service delivery and improve processes.
  • Provide training and support to users on various applications and tools.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Strong understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
