We are seeking a highly experienced Design Manager with a strong background in designing and modeling complex mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of hands-on experience in the design of conveyor lines, bagging machines, special purpose machines (SPM), material handling systems, resistance welding machines, machine tools, automation systems, robotics, machine components. In addition to technical expertise, proficiency in leading design teams and using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge is essential.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and designers to ensure high-quality design and engineering solutions for a range of mechanical systems.
• Supervise the design, modeling, and optimization of conveyor lines, material handling systems, bagging machines, SPM, resistance welding machines, automation systems, and other machinery.
• Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging creativity and innovation while ensuring that project goals and deadlines are met.
• Develop and oversee the design and 3D modeling of components, systems, and machines using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge.
• Ensure that all designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet both client and industry standards.
• Conduct regular design reviews and ensure the accuracy of design documentation (technical drawings, BOMs, specifications, etc.).

Experience:

10-15 years of professional experience in designing and modeling conveyor lines, bagging machines, SPM, material handling systems, resistance welding machines, machine tools, robotics, machine components, couplings, and bridge bearings.

Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge for 2D/3D modeling, drafting, and design.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• In-depth experience in automation, robotics, and material handling systems.
