Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Design Engineer with 2 4 years of experience in mechanical design and product development. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently on design tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. This role involves creating and maintaining engineering designs, supporting production, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and support design engineering activities independently for ongoing and new projects.
- Collaborate with product engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
- Provide design support for existing products and resolve production-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with design standards, drafting guidelines, and best practices.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, specifications, and technical instructions.
- Participate in design reviews and implement feedback effectively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 2 4 years of experience in mechanical/product design.
- Hands-on experience in Creo (Creo 4 preferred) and Windchill (PLM).
- Strong expertise in:
- Sheet Metal Design
- Assembly Modeling
- Detailed Drawing Creation
- Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience with Top-Down Design approach.
- Knowledge of Tubing Design and ETO (Engineer-to-Order) projects.
- Ability to create and manage BOM and ECN documentation.
- Strong drawing interpretation and dimensioning skills.
