Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Junior PCB Design Engineer (DesignSpark) to work on a contractor basis. In this role, you will apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, specifically in the field of electronics and PCB design. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input, and you will collaborate closely with AI engineers and other technical team members to communicate best practices and common design challenges in the technology industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, interpret, and evaluate PCB designs using DesignSpark software to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications, providing detailed feedback and annotation on PCB schematics and layouts based on industry standards.
• Contribute technical insights to develop comprehensive data sets for AI model training, focusing on the development of reliable AI agents through advanced evaluations and reinforcement learning environments.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers and other technical team members to communicate best practices and common design challenges, ensuring that your domain knowledge is applied effectively to improve AI system performance.
• Document common issues, design rationales, and solutions encountered in PCB development processes, assisting in creating guidelines and improving the overall quality of PCB designs.
• Provide detailed feedback and annotation on PCB schematics and layouts based on industry standards, ensuring that all designs meet the required specifications and are of high quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency in using DesignSpark software for PCB design and analysis, with the ability to review, interpret, and evaluate complex PCB designs.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices in PCB design, with the ability to provide detailed feedback and annotation on PCB schematics and layouts.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to document common issues, design rationales, and solutions encountered in PCB development processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with AI engineers and other technical team members, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to contribute technical insights to develop comprehensive data sets for AI model training.
