Job Purpose
We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for managing end to end background verification process for new hires and existing employees for the organisation. The role ensures accurate data handling, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and ensure proper documentation to support compliant and risk free hiring decisions.
Duties And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate background verification checks by collecting and validating candidate information
- Upload documents on system and manage cases through verification & vendor portals
- Coordinate with candidates to resolve document insufficiencies or discrepancies
- Review completed reports and drive closure basis case observations & scenarios
- Escalate major discrepancies to appropriate internal stakeholders
- Maintain secure and accurate records of all verification activities
- Maintain confidentiality of process data, candidate data and reports as part of mandatory compliance
- Follow all process guidelines, data privacy norms, and documentation standards
- Keep audit-ready records for all BGV related activities
- Should be able to work on report upload and data storage on the system
Required Qualifications And Experience
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related fields with specialisation in HR
- 2-5 years of experience in HR, managing HR processes (HR Operations if possible)
- Familiarity with HR systems, stakeholder management & vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook & Power Point)
- Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information
