Experience Required:
Minimum 7 – 10 years in mechanical seals and rotary equipment industry.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).
Job Responsibilities:
The Deputy Manager – Sales shall be responsible for serving customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations/applications of mechanical seals and systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for the business from customers located across Chennai and Southern region of India.
Job Duties:
- Identify current and future customer requirements for mechanical seals by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers across Chennai and Southern region of India.
- Provide product or equipment technical and engineering information by promptly responding to questions and requests from OEMs & End Users.
- Establish new accounts and service existing accounts by identifying potential customers and organizing sales call schedules.
- Determine improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environments and proposing changes accordingly.
- Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Submit offers by conferring with technical support staff.
- Develop customer confidence by providing technical information and training.
- Prepare sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information, engineering trends, and application data.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
