Danfoss, a global leader in advanced electric heating solutions, is seeking a proactive and growth-oriented Deputy Manager - Business Development for the India region. In this role, you will join an energetic Electric Heating team and drive business expansion by exploring new markets, uncovering customer needs, and identifying innovative applications for our heating solutions across residential, commercial, and light-industrial segments.

With a mindset of continuous learning and curiosity, you will design tailored solutions, build strategic partnerships, and collaborate closely with sales teams to create strong business pipelines. Success will come from your ability to adapt, engage thoughtfully with customers, and execute a clear go-to-market strategy that unlocks long-term, sustainable growth opportunities for the Electric Heating business in India.

What You'll Be Doing

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in electrical heating and snow-melting solutions across residential, commercial, and light industrial applications.
• Oversee the full business development cycle, from prospecting to solution delivery.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and strategic partners.
• Track business performance, analyse market data, and prepare reports to support management decisions.
• Collect insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
• Prepare and deliver value-selling presentations and demonstrations to clients to showcase the features and benefits of the electrical heating

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or business, with 5-8 years of industry experience and a strong foundation in electrical engineering or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of electrical heating products, with a curious mindset to explore new applications and technologies.
• Experience working closely with dealer networks and managing distribution channels.
• Service-oriented approach, with the ability to work across boundaries and embrace continuous learning.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40-50% as part of business development activities.
• Advantageous to have prior exposure to electric heating solutions or related industries.
