Weekly Off: Monday
Work Type: Field-based role with daily travel

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Deputy City Head Sales to lead sales operations in an assigned city. This role involves managing a field sales team, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on field sales experience, and in-depth knowledge of local areas.

Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership
  • Develop and execute city-level sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales goals.

  • Drive market penetration and expansion through effective sales planning and execution.

  • Track sales performance, analyze data, and prepare regular MIS and performance reports.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with senior sales leadership on forecasts, budgets, and action plans.

Team Management
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing field sales team.

  • Set clear KPIs and performance expectations for team members.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.

  • Build a positive, accountable, and performance-oriented team culture.

Customer Relationship Management
  • Identify and prioritize key prospects and customer segments within the assigned city.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

  • Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention through coordination with internal teams.

Sales Planning & Execution
  • Develop a strong understanding of the local market, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Work closely with marketing and other cross-functional teams to support lead generation and conversions.

  • Ensure effective execution of sales plans through consistent field engagement.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Minimum 5+ years of total work experience, including 3+ years in field sales.

  • Minimum 3+ years of team management experience.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong understanding of local geography and market dynamics.

  • Must own a two-wheeler/four-wheeler with a valid Driving License (DL).

  • Comfortable with daily field travel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
