Role & responsibilities
1. DB2 DBAs experience with Version 10.1 till 11.5 with hands on knowledge in data encryption at rest and in motion. Data partitioning feature, Q-Replication and HADR environment.
2. Should be familiar on L3, Backup, restore and replication.
3. Oversee the administration and maintenance of database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams for database-related tasks.
5. Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency.
6. Develop and enforce database policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
8. Conduct regular database backups and recovery operations to safeguard data. Implement and manage disaster recovery plans for database systems.
9. Prepare and maintain documentation.
