Database Developer - SQL

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with 35 years of hands-on experience in database development, query optimization, and performance tuning. The candidate should be able to work closely with application teams to design, develop, and optimize database solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions

• Perform query optimization and performance tuning for existing databases and reports

• Analyze and resolve database performance issues

• Support production issues related to database queries and reports

• Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security

• Assist in report development and optimization

• Document database objects and technical solutions

• Strong experience in SQL development (Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL specify if needed)

• Expertise in writing optimized SQL queries

• Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis

• Strong understanding of relational database concepts

• Experience supporting production environments

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with reporting tools

• Knowledge of ETL processes

• Basic understanding of application development workflows

• Experience working in high-volume data environments
