Job Description:

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Database Developer to spearhead our database solutions and drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS, with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining complex database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business applications.
• Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS to facilitate data integration and migration.
• Create, deploy, and manage reports and dashboards using SSRS for various business functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust database solutions.
• Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system operation.
• Maintain documentation related to database architecture, processes, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting best practices in database development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in database development and administration.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server (SQL Server 2016/2019 or later).
• Proficiency in SSIS for ETL processes.
• Strong expertise in SSRS for report development and management.
• Solid understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and normalization.
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure SQL or cloud-based database solutions.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and BI tools.
• Familiarity with other database technologies and scripting languages.
