We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to design and optimize enterprise-grade database solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. The role involves defining scalable architectures, ensuring high availability, and driving automation for mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement solutions for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and ElasticSearch
- Design cloud-native database architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Ensure performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies
- Lead data migration, integration, and automation initiatives using scripting and modern tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and optimized data platforms
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to database teams
Requirements
- 14-18 years of general IT experience
- 10+ years of experience in database engineering or cloud infrastructure roles with leadership exposure
- Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong knowledge of cloud database services, high availability, and backup/recovery
- Hands-on experience in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and analytics
- Proficiency in automation and scripting for operational efficiency
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level
