About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Enterprise Data Architect to be a technical visionary and lead architect for our global clients. This is not a PowerPoint architect role you will design, build, and implement enterprise-grade data solutions, working across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

As a player-coach, you will write code, build prototypes, optimize platforms, and mentor senior engineers, setting the technical standard for our entire data practice.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical design and implementation of large-scale, resilient data platforms across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Build proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate architectural decisions and explore new technologies.

Write production-quality code and customize open-source data frameworks (Spark, Flink, Trino) to meet client requirements.

Lead pre-sales technical engagements, providing hands-on solutions for RFPs/RFIs.

Mentor and empower senior engineers and architects, establishing best practices in coding, design, and deployment.

Troubleshoot complex performance, scalability, and design issues, personally leading resolution efforts.

Modern Data Architecture, RDBMS, ETL, Data Warehousing

SQL, PL/SQL, NoSQL

Data Modeling, Performance Optimization, Data Governance

Cloud Data Platforms: Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks

Multi-cloud experience: AWS, Azure, GCP

Hands-on coding and development in Python, Spark

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Computer Science, or related field)

15+ years of progressive hands-on experience in data engineering and enterprise architecture

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
