Summary
- As a Data Architect, the candidate is expected to design and govern the enterprise data solution.
- Works with customers to propose architecture, curate data backlogs, and ensure alignment of Snowflake, Power BI, and Azure frameworks.
Daily Responsibilities / Deliverables
- Define and maintain data architecture and standards.
- Review new feature designs & schemas.
- Curate and refine technical backlog with customers.
- Approve pipeline design and integration patterns.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data governance, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and enhance the data architecture roadmap to support innovation, scalability, and business growth.
- Mentor engineers, ensure performance tuning.
- Conduct architecture governance sessions.
Frameworks / Tools Expected
- Snowflake (multi-layered zones), Power BI, Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, ServiceNow
Copilot / AI Productivity Enablement
- Use GitHub Copilot to generate dbt templates, JSONs, SQL optimizations, and Power BI DAX placeholders.
- Use Copilot for documentation to summarize design notes.
Delivery Foundation (Versioning, Documentation, Workflow)
- Versioned architecture docs in Git.
- Maintains Confluence architecture library.
- Links design changes to ServiceNow tickets.
- Manages peer reviews in PRs.
Education
- B. Tech / MCA
- Cloud/Snowflake Cert
