Roles and Responsibilities
- Optimize and automate current reporting solutions to facilitate the decision making process
- Build business review decks to empower business team for retaining and on-board new advertisers
- Translate business requirement into data-driven insights to empower Ad sales and marketing team with go to market narratives
- Develop and design interactive dashboards to track key performance indicators across teams
- Deliver innovative consumer insights solutions for pro-active engagements with agencies and clients to drive new monetization opportunities
- Explore data to identify key user behavior and consumer trends and anomalies
- Clean and validate data before analysis
- Data storytelling - Ability to translate technical analysis into a actionable insights for non-technical audience
- Develop working relationships across teams and exchange best practices with other Samsung Ads entities
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in computer science/engineering or quantitative discipline (Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics). Masters Preferred.
- Strong statistical acumen and spreadsheet wizard
- 4- 5 years in a related engineering / analytics work / data mining
- Strong SQL skills 3-4 years using SQL/ Snowflake
- Strong Python and/or R skills - 3+ years working with Python and/or R for data manipulation, cleansing and automation
- Strong experience in BI / data visualization tools
- Experience with AWS tools such as EC2 and S3
- Jira, Confluence, GitHub , Snowflake and other agile development tool experience
Background
- Knowledge of research design and frameworks for analysis
- Deep understanding of Streaming TV, Linear TV, and Digital Video
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Expertise in market research and audience behaviour
- Thorough understanding of the media landscape and media agency ecosystem
- Strong experience designing data solutions aligned to client business needs
- Knowledge of measurement, attribution
- Experience in digital/addressable targeting
