What we are looking for: As a senior data analyst, you will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to various business units and stakeholders within Microsoft. You will work with large and complex datasets, using various tools and languages such as SQL, DAX, KQL, Python, Power BI, and Azure. You will also collaborate with other data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and business partners to understand the business needs, define the data requirements, and provide actionable solutions.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift timings: Overlapping US shift or 3pm - 12am (IST)

Years of experience: 5+ Years of experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis and reporting on various business domains, such as sales, marketing, finance, customer service, operations, etc.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insights and enable data-driven decision making.
• Use advanced analytical techniques, such as statistical analysis, machine learning, forecasting, optimization, etc., to solve business problems and generate value.
• Communicate and present the data analysis results and recommendations to variousstakeholders, both technical and non-technical, in a clear and concise manner.
• Ensure the data quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data sources and outputs.
• Identify and implement data analysis best practices, standards, and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in data analysis and related technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or related roles.
• Highly skilled in SQL, DAX, KQL, Python, and other data analysis tools and languages.
• Proficient in Power BI, Azure, and other Microsoft data platforms and services.
• Strong business knowledge and acumen, with the ability to understand the business context andobjectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and stories.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty.
