- Perform detailed Data Analysis to understand data propagation through our systems/applications and document/code the Data Transformation rules/logic.
- Participate in Requirement Analysis discussions to understand and document Data specific requirements.
- Perform detailed analysis and troubleshooting on data incidents related to data flow on global supply chain
- Comply with data governance policies and procedures
- Support and resolve Data issues and queries raised by internal customers.
- Analysis for various Data sources, both internal and external, and documenting the metadata including transformations, data structures and formats.
- Design and document Data structures for Databases and Data exchanges using industry standard modelling notations and tools.
- Demonstrate strong domain knowledge on end-to-end master data management (MDM) processes
- Conceptualize and implement data and analytics solutions in MDM space using business firmographics, financials, trade, and another related data fields.
Key Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience working with Data in any Analyst based role.
- Ability to analyse Data in relational, non-relational and file (flat files, hierarchical formats, compressed storage formats) based data stores.
- Strong skill in SQL (preferably Big Query)
- Domain knowledge on Business Firmographics or Financials or Banking
- Experience with data processing platforms and cloud environments like AWS or GCP(preferably)
- Experience with XML and JSON data structures
- PREferred Scala programming language, ETL experience
- Understanding of ETL processes and their impact on data quality
- Experience with Scripting to enable automation of Data collection, Data Transformation, Data Loading.
- Experience with Analysing structured and unstructured data.
- Passionate and curious about Data with strong commitment to producing quality deliverables
- Experience collaborating across time zone as part of a global team
