Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer to take technical ownership across custom development, integrations, APIs, data movement, performance tuning, and application lifecycle management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments and is passionate about building upgrade-safe, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom solutions in X++ using supported extension techniques (Chain of Command, event handlers, delegates).
- Extend and optimize AOT elements including forms, tables, classes, queries, views, and data entities.
- Build and support integrations with external systems via OData, REST/SOAP services, DMF APIs, and business events.
- Develop robust batch processing solutions using SysOperation and workflow frameworks.
- Implement reporting solutions with SSRS, Power BI, Excel, and Electronic Reporting.
- Participate in code reviews, release planning, deployment packaging, and production support.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to coding standards and architecture decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6-12 Years of experience.
- Deep hands-on experience with X++ development and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of extension frameworks, upgrade-safe design, and extensibility reviews.
- Expertise in integration patterns (synchronous APIs, asynchronous batch, event-driven).
- Proven experience with Data Management Framework (DMF) for import/export jobs and recurring data processes.
- Strong background in batch jobs, concurrency, logging, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git/TFVC, Lifecycle Services, CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with security roles, duties, privileges, and performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or multi-module F&O implementations.
- Knowledge of dual-write, Dataverse, Power Platform integrations, and Azure services.
- Strong technical writing skills for solution designs and deployment documentation.
- Leadership experience in architecture/code reviews, CI/CD governance, and mentoring.

- Power Platform Developer Associate (Recommended)
