Key Responsibilities:
- Threat Hunting: Actively search for indicators of compromise (IOCs) and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Threat Intelligence Gathering: Collect, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence from various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), threat feeds, and dark web.
- Risk Assessment: Assess the potential impact of threats and vulnerabilities on the organization s security posture.
- Incident Response: Respond to security incidents by analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and implementing containment measures.
- Intelligence Reporting: Create comprehensive threat intelligence reports to inform decision-makers and security teams.
- Staying Updated: Stay current with the latest threat intelligence trends and techniques.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including threat actors, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
