Cyber Security Analyst

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our remote team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents across our infrastructure and applications.

You will play a critical role in safeguarding organizational systems, networks, and data against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools Analyze potential security incidents and perform root cause analysis Investigate suspicious activities and mitigate threats Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation Implement and maintain security controls and policies Perform log analysis and incident reporting Work with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations Assist in penetration testing and security audits Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends Maintain compliance with security standards and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC environment Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls) Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM, LogRhythm) Knowledge of IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, and Firewall management Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, etc.) Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common attack vectors Experience in incident response and threat analysis Knowledge of Windows/Linux security Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Certifications

CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) CompTIA Security+ CISSP (Preferred) CISM or equivalent

Good to Have

Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

Experience with EDR/XDR tools

Understanding of ISO 27001, SOC 2 compliance
