We are seeking a full-time Assistant Manager – Customs Clearance (G Card Holder) for our JNPT location in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing and managing the customs clearance process, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, verifying documentation for accuracy, and coordinating with clients, customs officials, and internal teams to facilitate smooth shipments. Responsibilities include supervising on-ground operations at the port, resolving clearance issues, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards. This is an on-site position requiring excellent communication and organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently.

• Knowledge and expertise in customs clearance processes, regulations, and guidelines
• Proficiency in documentation verification, filing, and compliance procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, customs authorities, and clients
• Managerial skills, including team supervision and issue resolution
• Proven ability to stay updated with local and international customs laws and changes
• Must hold a valid G Card
• Familiarity with JNPT operations and logistics processes is advantageous
• Relevant educational background or professional certification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role within the customs clearance domain
