Job Description Customer Service Associate (CSA)

Position Overview

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) at Reliance Yousta Ludhiana is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience, supporting sales targets, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring smooth store operations. The role requires strong communication, customer orientation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Sales
  • Greet customers and assist them with product selection based on needs and preferences.
  • Provide product knowledge, styling advice, and size recommendations.
  • Convert walk-ins to sales and support in achieving daily/weekly store targets.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging customer experience throughout the store journey.
  • Store Operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across assigned sections.
  • Assist in handling trials, replenishment, price tagging, and stock counting.
  • Ensure fitting room protocols and customer flow management.
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Support in executing VM guidelines as per brand standards.
  • Keep shelves and displays neat, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Participate in new arrivals setup and seasonal changeovers.
  • Cashiering (if assigned)
  • Assist at billing counter during rush hours.
  • Handle cash, card, UPI transactions accurately (training provided).
  • Maintain billing area hygiene and documentation.
  • Inventory Management
  • Participate in GRN activities, stock audits, and shrinkage control.
  • Report low stock, damages, and fast-moving items to store leadership.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication (Hindi, Punjabi, basic English preferable)
  • Customer-centric approach
  • Positive attitude & teamwork
  • Basic computer/billing skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle rush hours
  • Interest in youth fashion & trends (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: 10+2 / Graduate (preferred)
  • Experience: 02 years in retail, fashion, or customer service (freshers welcome)

Work Environment & Shift

  • Store-based role
  • Rotational shifts, including weekends & holidays
  • Uniform & grooming standards as per brand policy
