Key Responsibilities
- Develop concept and basic mechanical designs for Drives and BESS products.
- Prepare 3D models, layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentation using CAD tools.
- Support mechanical packaging of electrical components in compliance with technical and space requirements.
- Perform detailed engineering and design validation for product development activities.
- Provide engineering support for new product introduction (NPI), localization, and development projects.
- Contribute to cost reduction, value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE), and direct material productivity (DMP) activities.
- Support issue resolution, design improvements, and technical problem-solving during development and execution phases.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet expected quality, timelines, and first-time-right (FTY) standards.

Work Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in LV/MV Drives, power electronics, or BESS products.
- Strong hands-on experience with Creo / Pro-E, ANSYS, and other CAD/design tools.
- Experience in concept development, equipment layout, detailed design, and design optimization.
- Exposure to requisition engineering, localization, and cost reduction programs.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, design standards, and quality requirements.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks independently and deliver within project timelines.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge / understanding of thermal and structural simulation.
- Exposure to DFMEA and DFM will be an added advantage.
- Experience working in a cross-functional and matrixed organization.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of handling short-term project-based assignments.
