Creative Video Producer

About Us

We're a New Zealand based company running four brands: an AI consulting firm, a Shopify SEO agency, an insurance brokerage, and a personal brand. Our audience is mostly Australia and New Zealand.

We're hiring a creative video producer to own video production across all four brands. This is a full-time, fully remote role. We're based in Auckland, NZ but you can work from anywhere with reliable internet.

About the Role

You'll take rough concepts, reference videos, and raw footage and turn them into finished content. Around 15-20 videos per month across:

- Short-form for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts

- Long-form YouTube videos

- Talking head edits of real footage

- AI UGC (AI avatars, AI voice)

- Podcast clips

- B-roll and text-driven content

You pick the right approach per video. We don't micromanage.

- Full tool stack (paid by us): CapCut, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Kling, Claude, ChatGPT, Captions, and anything else you need

Training on any tools you haven't used before

- Creative freedom. We send rough ideas, you bring them to life

- Fully remote, work the hours that suit you. We care about output, not hours logged

- Full-time, long-term contract with a monthly retainer

What We Need You to Be Good At

- Writing scripts that sound like a real person, not AI slop. This is the most important skill. You'll use AI heavily (we provide the tools), but you need to know how to prompt, edit, and shape the output so it sounds human.

- Creative judgment. We send a rough idea, you come back with something better than we asked for.

- Range. Short-form hooks, long-form YouTube pacing, talking head edits, AI-assisted production. Not a one-trick editor.

- Taste for ANZ and Western audiences. 

What We Need in Your Application

At least 3 to 5 videos you created yourself. Not client edits. Not executions of someone else's brief. Work where you owned the concept, wrote the script, and produced it end to end.
