Role Overview

The Creative Producer will be responsible for taking content ideas and ensuring they get executed smoothly from pre-production to shoot to post-production handoff. This person will own the production side of content creation across podcasts, founder shoots, social content shoots, event shoots, customer stories, campaigns, and special content projects.

This role is ideal for someone who understands both creative execution and operational discipline. The person should be strong at planning, coordinating, pushing timelines, managing shoot-day execution, aligning internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring content actually moves from concept to published output.

This is not just a coordination role. This role requires someone who can bring structure, speed, and creative judgment into content production.

Key Responsibilities

Content Production Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end execution of content production across podcasts, founder-led content, brand shoots, product videos, event shoots, customer stories, and social-first content
  • Translate content plans into executable production schedules and workflows
  • Ensure content ideas do not remain stuck in planning and actually get produced on time

Pre-Production Planning

  • Plan shoots in detail including objective, format, flow, timelines, sequencing, props, setup, and resource requirements
  • Coordinate guest schedules, founder calendars, internal stakeholders, locations, equipment, and production timelines
  • Prepare pre-shoot briefs, checklists, cue sheets, and production notes
  • Anticipate shoot-day challenges and solve them before they become execution issues

Shoot Execution

  • Own the flow of the shoot on ground and ensure it runs professionally, efficiently, and with clarity
  • Manage time, continuity, shot priorities, retakes, speaker readiness, and crew coordination
  • Ensure all required footage, supporting shots, and content variations are captured during production
  • Drive high-quality execution while also maintaining speed and output discipline

Creative Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Head of Content, founders, presenters, editors, designers, and social media team to understand the creative intent behind every shoot
  • Contribute ideas on how a piece of content should be shot, packaged, or broken into multiple formats
  • Ensure shoots are designed not just for one final video, but for multiple usable outputs across channels
  • Help improve creative quality while staying practical about timelines and execution

Post-Production Handoff

  • Organize raw footage, notes, edit references, content objectives, and priorities for the post-production team
  • Ensure editors receive clear direction on what needs to be created from each shoot
  • Track asset movement from raw content to rough cuts to final approved outputs
  • Reduce confusion, delays, and value leakage in post-production

Production Operations and Process Building

  • Create systems, SOPs, templates, and repeatable workflows for content production
  • Build strong asset management and production tracking processes
  • Maintain visibility into what is shot, what is under edit, what is pending review, and what is ready to publish
  • Continuously improve the speed and reliability of the production pipeline

Stakeholder and Talent Coordination

  • Coordinate with founders, internal team members, podcast guests, customers, vendors, freelancers, studios, and agencies as needed
  • Ensure all involved stakeholders are aligned on timelines, expectations, and readiness
  • Help create a professional experience for guests and participants during shoots

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 4 to 6+ years of experience in content production, creative production, podcast production, video production, media operations, or related roles
  • Has managed shoots, creative workflows, production timelines, and multiple moving stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of pre-production, shoot execution, and post-production coordination
  • Able to balance creativity with structure and operational discipline
  • Comfortable working in a high-speed startup environment with frequent shoots and changing priorities
  • Strong communication, planning, and follow-through ability
  • Naturally proactive and able to drive execution without needing close supervision

Preferred Background

  • Experience in media, creator ecosystems, startup content teams, podcast production, brand studios, agencies, or in-house content teams
  • Has worked on podcasts, interviews, founder-led content, or high-output short-form content ecosystems
  • Familiarity with video production workflows and social-first content creation
  • Experience coordinating with editors, camera teams, presenters, and external talent
  • Understanding of how one shoot can be repurposed into multiple assets across platforms
