Position Overview
The Counsellor will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and clients, providing accurate information, professional guidance, and end-to-end support related to aviation training programs and travel & tourism services offered by Avianta Group. The role involves counselling, admissions support, client engagement, follow-ups, coordination, and contribution to revenue generation while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Student & Client Counselling
Counsel prospective students and parents regarding aviation courses, cabin crew training programs, eligibility criteria, career pathways, and placement support.
Provide detailed guidance on travel packages, tour itineraries, visa assistance, and related services offered by Avianta Tours & Travels.
Understand client needs and recommend suitable programs or travel solutions accordingly.
Address queries via walk-ins, calls, emails, social media, and online platforms.
Admissions & Sales Support
Convert enquiries into admissions and confirmed bookings by effectively presenting program benefits and travel offerings.
Assist students and clients with application forms, documentation, and enrollment procedures.
Achieve assigned counselling, admissions, and booking targets as per organizational goals.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and revenue.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with students, parents, and travel clients.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure timely decision-making and client satisfaction.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding, training delivery, and travel execution.
Handle feedback, concerns, and escalations in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
Institutional & Promotional Activities
Support seminars, workshops, counselling sessions, and promotional events conducted at colleges, schools, and corporate locations.
Participate in education fairs, exhibitions, and marketing activities as required.
Assist in preparing counselling presentations, brochures, and promotional material.
Operational & Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality of student data, client details, and organizational information.
Prepare counselling reports, daily activity logs, and MIS as required by management.
Assist the management team in operational coordination and administrative tasks.
Ensure compliance with company policies, admission guidelines, and ethical standards.
Professional Conduct & Flexibility
Uphold professionalism, integrity, and ethical counselling practices at all times.
Work flexible hours, including weekends or extended hours, as per business requirements.
Be open to travel or temporary assignments, if required, for seminars or business support.
