Job Title: B2B Sales Corporate Relationship Manager

Location: Pune

Department: Corporate Banking / Business Development

Reports to: Sales Manager / Senior Manager Corporate Sales

Job Purpose

The B2B Sales Corporate Relationship Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the banks corporate portfolio. This role focuses on acquiring and managing corporate clients, promoting financial products, and building long-term relationships with businesses in various sectors. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the profitability and success of RBLs Corporate Banking vertical by identifying business opportunities and implementing effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition Relationship Management:
    • Develop and implement a sales strategy to acquire new corporate clients and grow the existing portfolio.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with senior decision-makers (CFOs, CEOs, Heads of Finance) within corporate organizations.
    • Regularly meet with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales Product Promotion:
    • Promote RBL Bank's suite of corporate banking products, including business loans, trade finance, cash management services, and working capital solutions.
    • Provide consultations and product recommendations to address client requirements.
    • Actively cross-sell other products such as insurance, investment solutions, and foreign exchange services.
  • Market Research Business Development:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential corporate clients and business opportunities.
    • Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to offer innovative solutions to clients.
  • Achieving Sales Targets:
    • Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the bank for corporate sales.
    • Prepare and present periodic reports on sales activities, performance, and market feedback.
  • Negotiations Deal Closure:
    • Lead and negotiate contract terms with clients, ensuring that the deals are aligned with the banks policies.
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
  • Cross-functional Coordination:
    • Collaborate with credit, risk, operations, and other teams to ensure a seamless process for loan approvals and service delivery.
    • Coordinate with marketing teams to organize client events, seminars, and promotional activities to drive sales.
Skills And Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
    • MBA or Post-Graduate qualification in Business or Finance (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or corporate banking, ideally in the financial services industry.
    • Proven track record in acquiring and managing corporate clients, with a strong understanding of corporate banking products.
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
    • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
    • Knowledge of corporate banking products and services.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
  • Behavioral Competencies:
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
    • Strong network-building skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strategic thinking with the ability to understand and adapt to business needs.
