Job Summary:
- J.P. Morgan is seeking candidates for a Vice President position in Corporate Payments Sales, based in Delhi.
- Responsible for Payments Sales Coverage to India Headquartered Corporate and Commercial banking clients across North India (Large Caps, Mid Caps, and Innovation Economy companies).
- Collaborate with corporate bankers to align strategies and credit capacity for Transaction Banking products.
- Develop partnerships with Bankers, Client Service, Product, and Implementation teams.
- Develop and execute a localized market and product strategy, managing key client relationships and pursuits.
- Work with Client's Treasurers/Finance teams to provide Cash management and Liquidity solutions, along with Trade solutions.
- Drive financial targets, client experience enhancement, and lead client initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Payments relationships with identified clients and prospects in North India across Large Caps, Mid Caps, and Innovation Economy companies.
- Develop and manage strategies to meet revenue growth and new sales targets for Payments products.
- Coordinate with Corporate Bankers and other LOBs to develop business and cross-sell opportunities with clients.
- Roll out new products to achieve revenue growth and maximize market penetration.
- Provide input into product development, marketing, and other strategic initiatives.
- Maintain an intensive client focus, identify challenges, and develop solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Masters (MBA) from a reputed Institute or Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with Transaction banking products and managing clients.
- In-depth knowledge of Cash Management products in India and key international markets (Merchant Services, Cards, Supply Chain Finance, ECA financing, Dynamic Discounting).
- Experience handling large multi-geography cash management RFPs.
- Strong experience in documentation negotiation, commercial, credit processes, and corporate/transactional banking.
- Proven experience working in a matrix structure and with cross-border teams.
- Effective communication and interaction skills at all levels.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Proven track record of results-oriented performance, building strategic relationships, and leading/influencing others.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
