Copywriter

Mainstreet is a Mumbai-based D2C company. We run the Mainstreet Marketplace (sneakers, streetwear, apparel) and BUILT, our own natural-movement footwear brand. Our growth runs on Meta, and creative is the biggest lever we have.

The role: you will work directly with our growth team writing the scripts behind our paid ads - hooks, angles, UGC briefs, and short-form video scripts. Scripts ship weekly and you will see exactly which lines move spend.

What you'll do:

Write performance ad scripts for Meta: hooks, angles, UGC concepts, short-form video scripts

Turn customer reviews, comments, and product details into ad angles

Iterate on winners using spend and CPA data

Keep a running backlog of hooks and concepts to test

What we're looking for:

1-3 years writing direct-response or performance ad copy, D2C/e-commerce preferred

A portfolio of shipped ad scripts or UGC concepts, ideally with results

You write for the feed, not for awards - hooks, thumbstop, retention

Based in Mumbai and able to work with the team in person

Bonus: you know sneaker, streetwear, or fitness culture

Compensation: 50,000-75,000/month depending on experience.
