Cooling Design Engineer

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / M.E / M. Tech : Mechanical / Automobile

Experience: 4 to 6 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

Domain Knowledge: Experience with Automotive cooling system components.

Testing Knowledge: Understanding of cooling system and component-level testing.

Design Knowledge: Expertise in plastic and sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes.

CATIA V5 Skills: Proficiency in 2D/3D design.

PLM Tools: Familiarity with PLM tools like Windchill / Enovia

GD&T Knowledge: Understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

MS Tools: Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.

Release Process and Change Management: Knowledge of these processes.

Fundamentals and Analytical Skills: Strong foundational and analytical abilities.

Communication Skills: Effective communication.

Design: Cooling lines, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, plastic and sheet metal components, cooling modules, fan shroud assembly.

Packaging and Concept Study: Ensuring components fit and function within the vehicle. Coordination: Working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Participation: In DFM/DFA/DFS/DFMEA & DVP activities.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Battery Electric Vehicles: Knowledge of components, integration, layouts, and installation.
