- Domain Knowledge: Experience with automotive cooling system components.
- Testing Knowledge: Understanding of cooling system and component-level testing.
- Design Knowledge: Expertise in plastic and sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes.
- CATIA V5 Skills: Proficiency in 2D/3D design.
- PLM Tools: Familiarity with Windchill.
- GD&T Knowledge: Understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- MS Tools: Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Release Process and Change Management: Knowledge of these processes.
- Fundamentals and Analytical Skills: Strong foundational and analytical abilities.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Battery Electric Vehicles: Knowledge of components, integration, layouts, and installation.
Required Skill Set:
- Design: Cooling lines, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, plastic and sheet metal components, cooling modules, fan shroud assembly.
- Packaging and Concept Study: Ensuring components fit and function within the vehicle.
- Coordination: Working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Participation: In DFM/DFA/DFS/DFMEA & DVP activities.
