Job Description

Genrobotics is seeking a skilled and experienced a skilled Control Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in BLDC motor operation and management to support our R&D and product development activities. The candidate will be responsible for motor control implementation, testing, tuning, and system integration for electromechanical and rehabilitation devices. The ideal candidate is proactive, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, with a strong sense of ownership over product delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, manage, and test BLDC motors for various applications.
  • Develop, implement, and tune motor control algorithms and drive systems.
  • Perform performance evaluation, validation, and troubleshooting of motor systems.
  • Integrate BLDC motors with embedded systems, sensors, and control hardware.
  • Support system-level testing, debugging, and optimization.
  • Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and R&D teams for product development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during testing and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain C/C++ code for control system implementation.

Skills Required

  • Experience working with BLDC motors, motor drivers, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of motor control techniques, embedded systems, and controller tuning.
  • Hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, microcontrollers, or relevant control tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Good to have knowledge of model-based design methodologies and simulation tools (HIL, SIL, PIL).
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • Experience in working on robotic medical rehabilitation projects will be considered an added advantage.

Added Advantage

  • Knowledge of motor control techniques such as PWM, PID control, and speed/torque control
  • Experience with motor drivers, encoders, sensors, and embedded control systems
  • Basic understanding of control system design and tuning
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers (Arduino, STM, PIC, etc.) and interfacing techniques
  • Ability to perform system integration and validation testing
  • Experience with microcontroller and microprocessor programming.
  • Knowledge of signal processing techniques.
  • Good to have experience with control systems in robotics industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related field
