For our office in Trivandrum, dSPACE is looking for creative and motivated professionals. You will work on exciting and technologically cutting-edge product development projects, in the areas of control prototyping, code generation and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) simulation.

We are offering a position as a Senior Software Developer for validation solutions in vehicle domain. In this role, you carry out plant model development activities, ensuring accuracy, fidelity, and compatibility with HIL hardware requirements. As part of the development team, you will implement and enhance models related to Battery Management Systems (BMS), Vehicle Control Units (VCU), Motor Control Units (MCU), Vehicle Dynamics, Instrument Cluster, and Telematics. You will execute validation workflows in HIL and SIL environments, troubleshoot issues, and document improvements to strengthen the validation ecosystem for vehicle systems. By combining your technical expertise with collaborative teamwork, you will play a key role in delivering robust validation solutions. Your Tasks

• You develop and maintain plant models and library blocks across vehicle control, dynamics, and telematics domains
• You implement enhancements to improve model fidelity, identify and close gaps
• You execute SIL and HIL validation workflows, ensuring models run reliably on hardware
• You troubleshoot simulation and validation issues, providing practical solutions
• You collaborate with the team to align models with OEM validation needs
• You contribute to sustainable development practices by creating clean, maintainable, and reusable models and code

Your Qualifications

• You have a B.Tech/M.Tech university degree in Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• You are proficient in MATLAB® and Simulink®, with experience in vehicle modeling and simulation tools
• You have strong C programming knowledge, applied to S‑Function development and integration with simulation models
• You have experience in vehicle systems with working knowledge of subsystems such as VCU, MCU, BMS, motor, inverter, battery, vehicle dynamics, instrument cluster & telematics with Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies
• You have hands‑on experience with SIL workflows and HIL testing, including hardware setup and validation
• You have strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot simulation and validation issues
• You are familiar with Azure® DevOps and Git for version control and CI/CD workflows
• You have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
