Job Summary
As a Continuous Improvement Consultant, your responsibilities to the following:
- Lead improvement initiatives by enlisting and influencing cross-functional teams that deliver tangible business results through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles, methodologies and tools
- Continuously improve existing process and help teams design new processes that are robust, effective, and efficient
- Identify key deliverables, conduct end-to-end assessment, and build solutions and processes that allow stakeholders drive improvements and enhance efficiencies
- Collaborate and engage cross functional members at all levels of the organization and execute initiatives that will drive quantifiable savings
- Energize teams and stakeholders, collect data, conduct diagnostic analysis, identify opportunities that positively impact quality, cost, delivery excellence, and customer satisfaction, and present action plan to management
- Create a culture focused on Continuous Improvement, challenging status-quo, thinking outside-the-box, and coach, mentor Lean concepts
- Train and develop the Continuous Improvement capabilities of leaders at all levels of the organization using the See-Do-Teach approach
- Achieve Cost Reduction Targets with regular updates to Senior Management
- Promote and support Continuous Improvement best practices sharing and consistency across MassMutual India
- Responsible for assisting with the development, facilitation, and execution of complex initiatives.
- Support, facilitate and/or sustain deployment of standard work and foundational Lean elements, Continuous Improvement initiatives, root cause problem solving, skill building within business area
- Provide effective leadership and advice to other team members and business area management regarding emerging trends and related risks.
- Overseeing BOT contingency measures and designing proactive solutions to ensure continuity in the event of a BOT outage
- Development of Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- US Insurance background Preferred
- Experience with Lean transformation and knowledge of Toyota Production System concepts
- Six Sigma Black Belt certified preferred
- At least 14 years of experience with process analysis (qualitative and quantitative)
- Exhibit leadership competencies
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to facilitate and drive business use case discussions for small-medium scale projects
- Take ownership of problems and stay on top of them until resolved
- Ability to effectively influence both executive and front-line leaders
- Excels at fostering relationships with ETX, Home Office and MMI Operations stakeholders
- Strong Proficiency in MS Office including Presentation skills
- Open to Night Shifts (US Time zone / minimum 5 to 6 hours of overlap)
