Role Description

Revise and write frontlist CBSE titles, integrating recommendations from NEP 2020 and NCF 2023.

Map, grade, and develop content aligned with the latest NCERT pedagogy and syllabus.

Collaborate with the team to create unique selling points (USPs) for new titles, based on NCERT circulars and New Education Policy drafts.

Contribute to stylesheet development and provide creative ideas for cover designs to the design team.

Handle customization of titles and special projects, adapting content for specific state/national boards or chain schools.

Write, proofread, and peer-review drafts for books, supporting other team members.

Manage content development processes, including drafting, copywriting, and ensuring high-quality standards.

Streamline writing workflows to boost efficiency and meet deadlines.

Partner with design and production teams for a smooth publishing process..

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

2+ years of content writing experience, preferably in education or publishing.

Ability to adapt tone and style to diverse audiences and sensitivities.

Exceptional grammar, spelling, punctuation, and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and similar tools.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
