Job Description

We're looking for a sharp, fast, and creative Content Writer who can turn complex topics (warranties, insurance, claims, e-commerce) into clear, simple, high-converting content. You will write across the full funnel: website pages, emails, ads, landing pages, case studies, sales enablement, and product education.

SureBright is building the world's first AI-native, agentic warranty company. In line with that, this is a high-ownership do whatever it takes role for someone who wants to operate at founder speed, learn the full stack of an insurance/warranty business, and ship work that directly moves revenue, conversion, and retention. You will work closely with the CEO, growth, partnerships, and product teams to ship content that drives leads, conversions, and merchant trust.

What You'll Do

  • Write high-converting website and landing page copy (B2B and B2C)
  • Partner newsletters
  • Produce merchant-facing content: one-pagers, decks, FAQs, training guides, launch kits
  • Create customer-facing content: plan explanations, claim steps, help center articles, scripts
  • Write case studies, testimonials, and partner spotlights
  • Turn product updates into clear announcements and release notes
  • Maintain a consistent SureBright voice (simple, confident, trustworthy)
  • Work with design to create content for banners, PDFs, and sales collateral
  • Use data (CTR, conversion, attach rate, SEO performance) to iterate and improve content

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of professional writing experience (B2B SaaS, fintech/insurtech, marketplaces, or e-commerce preferred)
  • Excellent writing skills: clear, concise, persuasive, and human
  • Strong understanding of conversion copywriting and messaging
  • Ability to simplify technical or regulated topics without losing accuracy
  • Comfortable shipping fast, taking feedback, and iterating
  • Strong research skills and good judgment on what's credible
  • Bonus: SEO experience (topic planning, on-page SEO, internal linking)
  • Bonus: Experience writing about warranties, insurance, payments, or claims

Must-have Skills

  • Copywriting and storytelling
  • Editing and rewriting for clarity and conversion
  • Basic understanding of funnels and buyer psychology
  • Ability to collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail (especially for policy/coverage language)

Work style

  • Prefer in-office, but remote-friendly
