Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a content strategist/writer located in Gurugram. The role involves developing and managing content strategies tailored to clients brand objectives, creating high-quality web and written content, and ensuring messaging consistency across various mediums. Responsibilities include strategic content planning, developing innovative content ideas, and delivering compelling narratives to drive engagement and meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Editorial Writing
- Write and ship researchbacked longform pieces (essays, playbooks, guides, and case studies) for founders and operators.
- Translate complex strategy and growth topics into simple, memorable frameworks with clear, actionable takeaways.
- Build wellstructured arguments with a clear flow: thesis insight evidence counterpoints takeaway.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice that is direct, practical, datadriven, and free of fluff.
Research & Synthesis
- Conduct primary and secondary research: interviews with SMEs/operators, deep dives into reports and papers, and extraction of insights from data.
- Fact-check all claims, cite sources appropriately, and uphold strong editorial standards around accuracy, context, assumptions, and limitations.
- Collaborate with design to turn insights into charts, visuals, and frameworks (you bring the thinking; design brings the form).
Content Strategy & Systems
- Build and run a repeatable content system: topic mapping, content pillars/clusters, briefs, style guides, and workflow.
- Own the content calendar and production cadence across formatsarticles, landing pages, resource hubs, website copy, and newsletter/social derivatives.
- Partner with design and product to create productaligned resources such as templates, calculators, simulators, and checklists.
- Measure what matters: track reach, saves, session depth, subscribers, and leads, and iterate based on performance insights rather than intuition.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Content Strategy, Content Development, and Content Management
- Proficiency in Web Content Writing and general Writing skills
- Strong ability to create engaging and well-structured written materials
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to align content with brand identity
- Prior experience in content creation, strategy, or copywriting is advantageous
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools is a plus
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a relevant field is preferred
