Oraton (www.speakwithoraton.com) is an AI-powered communication coach that helps managers and leaders practice high-stakes workplace conversations — performance reviews, difficult feedback, board updates — and get structured feedback on how their message lands. We are live on iOS and Android with early users across 7 countries and growing fast with zero paid marketing.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban for a Content Strategist. You will be the person who defines how Oraton thinks about content — what we say, how we say it, who we say it to and why it will resonate. You will work directly with the founders and have complete ownership of Oraton's voice and content strategy across every channel.

We are not looking for someone who executes a brief. We are looking for someone who thinks deeply about content — who understands the psychology of the professional we are trying to reach, who can craft a LinkedIn post that stops someone mid-scroll, and who brings original ideas to the table every week. Execution follows from that thinking.

What you will own

Content and social

  • Write and publish 3-4 LinkedIn posts per week for Oraton company page and support founder personal brand
  • Create Instagram content — posts, reels and carousels — focused on leadership communication and career growth
  • Write one long-form blog article per week for speakwithoraton.com targeting SEO keywords
  • Script and coordinate YouTube video content — editing or managing an editor
  • Engage daily with relevant content on LinkedIn and Instagram to build community

Email and growth

  • Set up and manage Customer.io or Brevo email automation — trigger sequences, segmentation, A/B testing
  • Own push notification campaigns — write, schedule and track performance
  • Optimise App Store and Play Store listings — keywords, screenshots, description copy
  • Build and manage a referral programme for users and coaching partners
  • Track and report weekly on key metrics — signups, trial activation, email open rates, conversion

Brand and production

  • Coordinate video shoots for founder content, testimonials and podcasts
  • Collect and publish user testimonials and early case studies
  • Manage Oraton's community presence — respond to comments, DMs and app reviews
  • Support PR outreach — draft pitches for YourStory, Inc42, People Matters and similar publications

Who you are

  • 3-6 years of content or brand marketing experience — with a strong portfolio of original content that demonstrates genuine creative thinking
  • An exceptional writer who thinks before they write — someone who obsesses over the right angle, the right opening line and the right emotional hook before putting words on a page
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn as a platform — you know what makes content stop someone mid-scroll and why
  • Curious about leadership, psychology and professional development — you find the subject genuinely interesting not just professionally relevant
  • Comfortable with execution — you can think strategically and then do the work yourself
  • A natural observer of culture and conversation — you notice what people are talking about and find the Oraton angle in it
  • Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate
