Content Strategist Intern

Location: In Office (Bangalore)

CTC: Upto 5 LPA

About Creator Chart and the Role

Creator Chart is hiring a Content Strategist who thinks about content beyond execution. If you instinctively analyse why a reel worked, break down storytelling patterns, or study how creators structure their content, you'll fit right in.

This is not a typical writing or editing role. You will work closely with a Senior Content Strategist, automation, and the broader content team to shape how content is built, from idea to execution to performance. Yes, there is a method to the social media madness & you will master it. 

A key part of your role will be contributing to and evolving our Content Playbook; the operating system that defines how content is planned, scripted, shot, edited, designed, distributed, and optimised across Creator Chart channels, our stakeholders projects, and our partners mandates.

You will work across both Creator Chart's own content and client accounts, helping build scalable systems, improve storytelling quality, and drive consistent output across platforms.

We're looking for someone who is highly observant, structured in their thinking, and deeply curious about the creator economy and professional content.

What you'll do

Build & Own the Content Playbook

  • Work with the Senior Content Strategist to build and refine the Content Playbook
  • Contribute to workflows for ideation, scripting, editing, repurposing, and distribution
  • Continuously identify gaps and suggest improvements to content systems

Research & Generate Insights

  • Track trends, platform shifts, and emerging formats across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Substack, and Reddit.
  • Analyse creators, storytelling patterns, and content structures to identify what drives performance and audience engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and translate data into actionable recommendations for improving content strategy.

Lead Content Development

  • Work across client accounts and Creator Chart's own content
  • Drive content creation by developing scripts, hooks, captions, post copy, and video or carousel outlines.
  • Collaborate on rough cuts, edits, or structure drafts using tools such as InShot or equivalent platforms.
  • Lead ideation sessions and convert concepts into structured, execution-ready content plans.

Content Operations & Execution

  • Work with the content team to manage and maintain the content calendar
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with design, video, and distribution teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Track analytics, monitor performance metrics, and optimise content strategy based on insights.
  • Review content outputs across interns/juniors to ensure quality, alignment, and adherence to deadlines.

Who you are

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in content strategy, content writing, social media management, or creator-focused roles.
  • Experience writing scripts, hooks, short-form content, and/or long-form thought leadership content.
  • Strong understanding of platform dynamics across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), and Reddit.
  • Strong research and analytical ability with the skill to convert insights into clear, structured, and actionable documentation or strategy.
  • Working knowledge of Canva, InShot, or similar content creation/editing tools (or the ability to learn quickly).
  • Comfortable managing relationships, timelines, and expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to turn research into simple insights.
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals, content optimisation, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with design, video, and marketing teams.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive projects from idea to execution.

Good to Have

  • Experience working in a startup, agency, or creator-led environment.
  • Interest in personal branding, professional creator ecosystems, or knowledge-led content businesses.
  • Understanding of content repurposing strategies across multiple formats and platforms.
  • Familiarity with basic video editing or motion tools beyond entry-level editing apps.
  • Experience contributing to or building content playbooks, brand guidelines, or workflow documentation.

Bonus Points If:

  • You've worked with a creator or brand before.
  • You know how to turn long-form conversations into clips or micro-content.
  • You're comfortable using AI tools for ideation or editing.
  • You've used tools like Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Descript, or After Effects.

Growth Trajectory:

Months 1-2:

  • Understand Creator Chart's content ecosystem across both client accounts and internal platforms.
  • Audit past content to identify patterns, gaps, and improvement areas.
  • Work closely with the Senior Content Strategist and team on content execution, editing, and drafting.
  • Contribute to research, ideation, and early-stage content development.
  • Get familiar with workflows across content, SEO, and event-related execution.

Months 3-4:

  • Take ownership of specific content streams, platforms, or client accounts (with guidance).
  • Drive ideation and contribute structured content plans across formats.
  • Actively contribute to improving workflows and Content Playbook systems based on execution learnings.
  • Track weekly content performance and share actionable insights.
  • Work more independently on drafting, editing, commenting, and coordination across teams.

Months 5-6:

  • Handle end-to-end content cycles for assigned platforms or clients (planning → execution → optimisation).
  • Build and refine templates, frameworks, and workflows to improve execution efficiency.
  • Coordinate confidently with design, video, and distribution teams.
  • Work closely with interns or junior contributors to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to website, SEO, and event-led content initiatives with greater ownership.

By the end of 6 months, 

  • Independently manage content planning, execution, and optimisation across platforms.
  • Contribute actively to evolving the Content Playbook as a working system, not just documentation.
  • Operate as a reliable owner within the content team across clients and Creator Chart's own content.
