Content Manager

Job Title: Content Manager
Department: Marketing / Brand & Communications
Location: Hyderabad / On-site
Experience: 3–7 years
Reporting To: Brand Manager / Head of Marketing

Role Overview

The Content Manager will own and manage the entire content ecosystem at Digital Nest. This role involves content strategy, team management, quality control, and internal communications. The ideal candidate should be both strategic and hands-on, ensuring all content aligns with brand voice, business goals, and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with marketing and business objectives.
• Plan monthly and quarterly content calendars across blogs, website, social media, and campaigns.
• Identify content gaps and opportunities based on audience needs and business priorities.

Team Management

• Manage in-house and freelance content writers.
• Allocate tasks, set deadlines, and monitor productivity and quality.
• Provide feedback, mentorship, and training to improve writing standards.

Editing, Proofreading & Quality Control

• Review and edit all outgoing content for grammar, clarity, tone, and accuracy.
• Ensure consistency in brand voice across all platforms.
• Establish and maintain editorial guidelines and SOPs.

Internal Communications

• Manage internal communication content including:
• Leadership emails and announcements
• HR communications (policies, onboarding, updates)
• Internal newsletters and event communications
• Ensure messaging is clear, professional, and aligned with company culture.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, design, sales, and leadership teams.
• Translate complex ideas into simple, engaging content.
• Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives.

Content Performance & Optimization

• Track content performance metrics (engagement, traffic, conversions).
• Optimize content strategy based on insights and trends.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• Internal communication frameworks
• Basic SEO and digital marketing knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English / Journalism / Mass Communication / Marketing / Communications
• Certifications in Content or Digital Marketing are an advantage

Experience

• 4–7 years in content writing, editing, or content management roles
• Prior experience managing a team is mandatory
• Experience in startups, agencies, or EdTech/SaaS environments preferred
