About the Role
You will own the YouTube channel end-to-end — strategy, content direction, production pipeline, and performance. You'll work with a dedicated scriptwriter and a videographer-editor; your job is to lead the creative vision, keep the pipeline moving, and make the channel grow. You report to the Head of Growth.
What You'll Own
- Channel strategy: content pillars, audience segments, publishing cadence, and long-term growth plan
- Content calendar: topics, formats, angles, and hooks planned based on search demand, trends, and brand goals
- Scriptwriter management: brief, review, and sign off on every script before shooting begins
- Production pipeline: coordinate shoot schedules, on-camera talent, shot lists, and handoffs from script to shoot to final edit
- Edit review and approval: review cuts, give structured feedback, and approve the final version before publishing
- Publishing and optimisation: write titles, descriptions, and tags for SEO; brief thumbnails; schedule and publish every video
- YouTube Shorts: identify best clips from long-form, brief the editor, and publish Shorts as a secondary growth lever
- Performance reporting: track watch time, CTR, subscriber growth, and retention weekly with a clear POV on what to change
- Community management: respond to comments and flag emerging topics that should inform future content
- Collaboration: coordinate with the Instagram hire on content repurposing and with the brand team on campaigns and launches
