Job Description
The identified candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with broad knowledge and deep domain experience within the Cloud EPM product. The candidate will be an individual contributor, interacting with a global team of functional leaders, business partners, and technical experts to articulate how to best integrate Oracle EPM technologies to deliver superior business impact. The role involves collaboration with Onshore and Nearshore EPM Project teams, including transformation, implementation, roll-out, upgrades, development, and support.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) applications.
- Understand financial statements, the close cycle, and related best practices.
- Create consolidated financial statements for customers.
- Manage project plans, timelines, status reports, risks, and issue logs.
- Apply independent judgment in guiding activities for successful business solution implementation.
- Analyze business needs to ensure Hackett's solutions meet customer objectives.
- Apply Hackett's methodologies, policies, and procedures while adhering to contractual obligations.
- Expert in implementing Oracle PCM/EPCM, including designing allocation rules, building custom (MDX) rules and rule sets, and performance tuning.
- Work on direct integration with ERP GL and other EPM applications using Data Management.
- Understand allocation requirements, metadata setup, and rule development.
- Implement Oracle PCM projects, including metadata creation/updates, rules setup, web forms, data grids, reports, and dashboards.
Essential Skills
Job
- 6+ years of EPM/PCM experience in administration, design, analysis, development, and support.
- Experience with Hyperion EPM Product Suite and PCM application development processes.
- Proficient in requirement gathering and solution design for PCM.
- Hands-on experience in configuring rules and rule sets in PCM.
- Strong data management skills for data load rules, mappings, and data loading.
- Functional knowledge of Chart of Accounts and allocation processes.
- Ability to work independently to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and openness to new technologies.
- Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Profitability and Cost Management 2023 Implementation Professional 1Z0-1082-23, Oracle Planning 2023 Implementation Professional 1Z0-1080-23) are a plus.

- Extensive experience with Oracle EPM applications; finance module experience is a plus.
- 2+ years of functional and technical experience with Oracle EPM (preferably PCM and PBCS).
- Proficient in Cloud Applications, EPM Suite (EPBCS, PBCS, PCM, FCCS), EPM Automate, SmartView, and FRs reporting.
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts (Incident, Problem, Change, Availability Management).
- Flexibility to work long hours overlapping EST, CST, and PST time zones.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude.
- Experience with FCCS, EPM Reports, FDMEE/DM, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, SQL scripting, and BI Publisher.
- MBA in Finance or strong finance domain background is a plus.
- Oracle Cloud Certifications in Cloud EPM workstreams are a plus.
