Job Description
As a Senior Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery team, working closely with functional teams to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your expertise in SAP ABAP will be instrumental in delivering high-quality SAP developments and ensuring the smooth functioning of our SAP applications. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implement them effectively.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality and performance of SAP developments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP applications, providing timely support.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and implement them as required.
- Document and maintain SAP development processes and procedures.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
- Participate in project planning and provide estimates for SAP development tasks.
- Ensure compliance with SAP standards and guidelines throughout the development process.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant, with a strong track record in SAP application development.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with SAP HANA database and its integration with SAP ABAP.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its key functionalities is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP or SAP HANA are an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
