Senior Technical Consultant - SAP MDG

Job Overview:

As an SAP MDG Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and customizing SAP Master Data Governance solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business requirements, configure the SAP MDG platform to meet those requirements, and integrate MDG with other SAP modules and third-party systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP MDG along with excellent communication and problem[1]solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their master data management needs and requirements.
• Design and implement SAP MDG solutions for various master data domains such as Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance.
• Configure and customize SAP MDG data models, UIs, workflows, and business rules to enforce data standards and governance policies.
• Develop custom enhancements using ABAP, BADI, and exits to address unique business requirements and integrate MDG with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Expertise in Data Model Enhancement, Data Transfer (DIF/DEF), Data Replication Framework (DRF), and Business Rules Framework plus (BRFplus).
• In depth knowledge of Key mapping and Value mapping
• Perform data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP MDG, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide technical expertise and support during all phases of SAP MDG implementation projects.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions for client teams.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP MDG developments and best practices and share knowledge within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to deliver successful SAP MDG projects.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum [5] years of experience as an SAP MDG Technical Consultant, including at least 2 end-to-end SAP MDG project implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of master data management principles and SAP MDG architecture.
• Proficiency in SAP MDG modules including Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, and Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP development and enhancement framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP MDG certification(s) preferred
