Job Description

As an SAP ABAP Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our team, utilizing your expertise to develop and enhance SAP systems. Your primary focus will be on ABAP development, ensuring efficient and effective solutions for our clients. With your strong technical background and functional knowledge, you will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, and conversions.
  • Create custom objects, such as user-defined data types, classes, and function modules.
  • Integrate SAP systems with external applications and databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ABAP development.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality development.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and implement them in your work.
  • Document your work, including code comments, design documents, and user manuals.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development.
  • Strong technical expertise in ABAP programming, including OOP concepts and HANA database knowledge.
  • Experience in developing custom objects and integrating SAP with external systems.
  • Good understanding of SAP functional modules, especially in the areas of Finance, Logistics, or HR.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with clients and team members.
