Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development and will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions within SAP environments to meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and enhancements in SAP environments.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing and assist in system integration testing to ensure quality deliverables.
- Debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Implement SAP enhancements and modifications as per business needs.
- Provide support during the implementation of new SAP modules or functionalities.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-11 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and its associated tools.
- Experience with data dictionary objects, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (Smart Forms, SAPscript).
- Familiarity with ABAP Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, and HR is a plus.
- Experience in performance tuning of ABAP programs and SQL queries.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 technologies is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
