Business Operations Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Operations role to support project governance, revenue tracking, and operational efficiency across Retail opportunities. The role requires strong coordination with delivery teams, finance, and leadership to ensure accurate time tracking, revenue forecasting, and system hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
1. Timesheet & Effort Tracking
ü Monitor and track time and effort logged across all active projects
ü Send regular reminders and follow-ups with resources to ensure timely submission of timesheets
ü Ensure completeness and accuracy of effort data for billing and reporting purposes
2. Revenue Forecasting & Variance Management
ü Prepare and maintain Best Estimates (BE) in Salesforce for project revenue.
ü Track actuals vs forecast and highlight variances with actionable insights
ü Work closely with delivery and finance teams to improve forecast accuracy
3. Project Setup & System Management
ü Create and maintain projects/Opportunity in Salesforce system.
ü Input and update revenue estimates, and project details in the tracker
ü Ensure data integrity and consistency across tools
4. Pricing & Invoicing Support
ü Prepare pricing templates and Invoicing sheets for new and ongoing projects
ü Support deal structuring with inputs on cost, margins, and pricing strategy
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
ü Generate periodic reports on utilization, revenue, and project health
ü Identify process gaps and recommend improvements
ü Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking the success of implemented changes
6. Resource management
ü Resource Tracking and live data updates
ü Project onboarding and offboarding ownership
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
· Experience with Salesforce, Fieldglass, Beeline and similar tools
· Good understanding of revenue forecasting and financial tracking
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
· High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
· Experience in consulting, IT services, or professional services environment
· Familiarity with project lifecycle and milestone-based revenue recognition
· Exposure to PMO or business finance roles
