Job Description

We are looking for a Compliance Officer with 4-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the insurance and healthcare sectors. If you have a strong understanding of IRDA regulations, insurance compliance, and legal frameworks, this opportunity is for you.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance (Insurance & Healthcare):

  • Ensure adherence to Insurance & Healthcare Compliance standards as per IRDA regulations, the Insurance Act, Insurance Broker Regulations, and other applicable laws.
  • Keep track of regulatory changes introduced by IRDA or any other relevant authorities and ensure timely implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines applicable to Insurance Companies or Insurance Broking Firms.

Regulatory Filings & Reporting:

  • Prepare, file, and maintain all necessary forms, reports, and returns as per IRDA and other health regulators requirements.
  • Oversee mandatory IRDA filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to address compliance-related matters.

  • Maintain proper records of compliance submissions, approvals, and legal communications.

Monitoring & Implementation:

  • Conduct internal compliance checks to ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Develop and implement internal policies to ensure the organization operates within legal and regulatory boundaries.

Regulatory Updates & Advisory:

  • Monitor ongoing changes in insurance, broking, and healthcare regulations.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on compliance risks and assist in ensuring business practices align with regulatory expectations.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance within the Insurance & Healthcare sectors.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong understanding of IRDA regulations, insurance compliance frameworks, and legal requirements.
  • Legal & Compliance Skills: Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory and legal provisions.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in managing regulatory filings, documentation, and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to draft clear and concise legal and compliance-related documents.
