Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Company Secretary with 15-16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining statutory books, and providing legal and governance support to the board.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for the company.
• Maintain and update the company's statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
• Prepare and file necessary documents with regulatory authorities, such as annual returns and financial statements.
• Coordinate and facilitate board meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
• Advise the board on corporate governance practices and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
• Manage shareholder communication and maintain investor relations.
• Oversee legal matters and manage external legal counsel as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from a recognized institute.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Law, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the Companies Act, 2013 and other relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in corporate governance and compliance management.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
