Reporting to: Director Finance

Pay : INR 90,000 – 1,00,000 per month

BASIC FUNCTION (JOB SUMMARY) If you seek a rewarding opportunity in working for a social cause, you may be the individual to join our Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation (HKMCF) team. The Company Secretary & Legal Officer will ensure that the Trust operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and governance standards. The role involves handling legal matters, regulatory filings, board governance, and advisory support to trust on compliance and risk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS)

1. Draft, Review and vet Agreements, MOUs, contracts, vendor agreements, Legal notices and responses

2. Handle litigation matters in coordination with external counsel

3. Maintain statutory registers and legal records

4. Prepare and Maintaining Board Resolution, circular resolutions and maintenance of up to date minutes.

5. Develop and implement Internal policies (compliance, ethics, governance)

6. Identify legal and regulatory risks

7. Ensure adherence to donor and grant compliance requirements

8. Assist and coordinating for getting the legal opinions from consultants/external counsels.

Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications:

Post Graduate in CS & LLB

Experience:

4 to 6 years of relevant experience in this field.
